Having been cooped up all week thanks to Hurricane Sandy, my brother has done a number on the beer supply and I sipped through every bottle of wine we had on hand before the storm hit. I guess it's time to get creative with the cocktails!
Luckily I still have a few bottles of Angry Orchard cider and the recipes Haley Jensen, New York City's Taproom 307 beer sommelier, taught me earlier this fall. If you love elderflower liquor?think St. Germain and champagne cocktails?try the Orchard Flowers, an autumnal twist on the gin martini.
