This and this, that is.
In the late eighteen hundreds some brewers brewed brew
To drink in New England, with chowder or stew
Twas called Narragansett, twas hoppy and rich
But then prohibition, and ain?t that a bitch
Still lagers and ales were medicinally brewed
And prescribed by the mugful by doctors with food
But wether or not all your ailments were healed
Was soon of no matter, amendments repealed
And that?s when the growth growed by leaps and by bounds
Twas Beer of the Sawx sold on Fenway?s green grounds
Jingles were written, and Curt Gowdy?s slogan
Go on Have a ?Gansset, I?m sure that you?re owed one
With kegs rolling outward, the money flew loose
So a logo commissioned by some guy named Seuss
But money affects folks whomever they be
From the biggest Fuzzbumbler to the smallest Pardee
And so the dear beer co. for millions was sold
And into the Falstaff, they sadly were sold
Soon in decline and demise there was trouble
And in sad 98 the old factory was rubble
But from Philadelphia came Art in the Age
Who purchased the brand and revived the old name
And now at the beerfests awards they oft win
And Gansett is sipped from Aluminium
So with this revival, collectors up perk
And on this eBay item, they?ll bid while at work
So if you act fast as a Snoozle on speed
With deep enough pockets this tray?s what you need
And to your young hipsters with tight Jeaned Caboose
Some ?Gansett served up on a tray drawn by Seuss
