David Alan Basche On His Exes Character- "We're Very Different!"

gin1_wide.jpg
He may play a clueless divorc? on his new series, The Exes, but hunky actor David Alan Basche wants everyone to know that he?s nothing like his character, Stuart Gardner. ?He can?t stay married and doesn?t understand how to communicate with women,? David, a prime-time veteran with previous parts on 30 Rock and The Starter Wife, explains to In Touch. ?And I?ve been happily married to the same spectacular woman for 14 years. So in that sense, we are very different.?

And while the kicked-to-the-curb Stuart is having trouble adjusting to his new life in an apartment with other suddenly single men Phil (Donald Faison) and Haskell (Wayne Knight), David is fitting in just fine with his co-stars. ?Donald is funny as hell and very silly. He loves to sing and dance on set,? David says. ?And Wayne?s comic timing is genius.?

When he?s not filming, David hangs out in his New York home with his actress wife, Alysia Reiner, and 2-year-old daughter, Livia. ?I?m tired all the time,? he says, ?but life is good!?

Catch the premiere of The Exes on TV Land on November 30 at 10:30 p.m., after Hot in Cleveland.
